Changing a cigarette lighter in a 97 Peugeot 106.?

I just purchased a new GPS from Sony, but the car adapter does not work. The Mains original works a little lighter, I think it works, but with only a small amount of energy. So I bought a new socket, but I can not see anyway to install it, and I am desperate to use my GPS to the rescue!

useually is lighter near the ashtray and remove the ashtray and you should be able to see the lighter is held in forceps and useually are tempremental remove and alternatives are always easier to use. but I regret to say that sometimes the only way out is Remove brute force power plugs and power if you can not see the leaves of the food is sometimes the case, remove the battery connections
